Hampton by Hilton Gaziantep

Great location and a clean room. The service staff were kind and helpful, and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast. The mattress wasn’t very comfortable, though, and could’ve been bigger and better.

We picked Hampton by Hilton Gaziantep for a two-night wedding trip because it’s central and part of the Hilton group. Our party arrived in several groups, and each time the welcome was warm and helpful. As a Diamond member, I received an upgrade, though the rooms are fairly standard for a three-star hotel. The central spot made it easy to see the city’s main attractions. Havaş airport shuttles leave right beside the hotel, and the ride takes about 35 minutes. Breakfast was included, with lots of choice and some local foods. The rest of the spread was good, though the fruit juice and coffee could be better, with only filter and instant coffee available. On the seventh floor, my room seemed nice at first, with a fruit plate provided because of my Hilton status. There was a damp, moldy smell, but it improved once the air conditioning kicked in with the room key. The bathroom amenities were quite minimal, just wall-mounted shampoo and hand wash. I appreciated the two free bottles of water in the fridge in Gaziantep’s heat. Shower pressure was weak up on the top floor, so a lower room might be preferable. We enjoyed the convenience and the rooms covered our needs, but the room quality and amenities didn’t impress us. It’s good value if you think of it as a budget hotel, though expectations should reflect its lower-tier place in Hilton’s portfolio. I do wish they’d address the room odor when the air conditioning isn’t running.

Definitely recommend it. The service and staff were wonderful, and my room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was top notch too. This place deserves a five-star rating, and I’ll stay here whenever I’m back in Gaziantep.

Had a really relaxing, enjoyable stay at Hampton by Hilton. Everything was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job. The whole team was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight, with tasty food and plenty of drinks and dishes to pick from. Highly recommend!
