A lovely find in Gocek. There’s a great walking area, a pleasant restaurant and a beach club where the drinks are good, though I wouldn’t expect much from the food. You can get there by water taxi or take the free ferry.

It’s so calm here, with trees right down to the sea and shelter from strong winds and waves. If you’re looking for a home for your boat, this is a place you should see.

This is Gocek’s original marina, tucked into a well-protected bay about a mile from town and its main shops and restaurants. There isn’t much on-site, but a free ferry runs into town.
