Karianda Hotel

What surprised me most was the food. For five days straight, every dish we ordered at the hotel restaurant was amazing, with flavor and preparation you’d expect from a five-star hotel. The hotel itself is right on the beach and feels cozy. Rooms are a normal size, nothing special, and the showers are small. To be fair, given the prices, most hotels nearby are much the same for beach water, room size, and cramped toilets. They keep the rooms regularly clean to an acceptable level, which is enough for the daily cost. I'll include some photos.

The restaurant service can be slow, and the prices aren't especially low either. It used to be a lovely spot to relax, with loungers on the grass under palm trees, soft music, clear sea, and great food. But like other good places in Turkey, it seems to have gone downhill. There are now families with loud, spoiled kids who shout at each other nonstop, so it's hard to unwind. From 16.00 they play very loud techno, even though there doesn't seem to be a clientele for happy hours.

I've stayed here on and off over the last 10 years, and they keep improving the service and making the stay as comfortable as possible. For me, it's the best place to stay in all of Golkoy, GolTurkbuku/Turkbuku. Thank you, Zerrin hanim, and all the friendly, professional staff.

The location is very good, and the sea is usually perfect, with a blue flag. Some days yachts come into the area and make the water cloudy. I hope they aren't dumping waste. On an ordinary day, I recommend karianda and the sea of Gölköy.
