Kuum Hotel & Spa

I really enjoyed my stay and the hospitality here. Manager Orhan took care of every detail, and I especially appreciated the beach staff and kitchen.

The beach isn't sandy, but the music and atmosphere made it a lovely place to spend the day, and the location is beautiful. We stayed at Kuum Hotel & Spa for three nights and had a very nice time. Our room was exceptionally clean each day, thanks to the housekeeping team, and the spa had skilled therapists and a relaxing feel. Staff all around the hotel were friendly, helpful, and smiling. A few things could be better. There are lots of stairs around the property, which could be difficult for some people. Breakfast tasted good and service was fine, but the choices could vary more from day to day. Beachside service was sometimes slow, too. We had a great stay and would return. The hotel is beautiful, especially for its cleanliness and spa service.

The spa was the letdown for us. We chose Kuum because we like using spa facilities on trips, but this one didn't meet expectations. The fitness area lacked fresh air and good equipment, and the wet area felt dated. Spa staff gave unclear information: first we were told it closed at 19, then we were hurried along when we wanted to use the sauna. It wasn't the relaxing experience we hoped for. The rest of the stay was great. The beach area is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast had an impressive range of choices. If the spa were updated and cared for like the beach, rooms, and dining, the hotel would be exceptional.

I paid 3,500 TL and couldn't even get a seat near the beach. Most of the good spots were marked “reserved,” and there were very few umbrellas, so expect to sit in the sun without shade or help. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, and there was no atmosphere. A very disappointing experience, definitely not worth the price.
