Madda Hotel

The location made it easy to enjoy the hotel or wander along the beach strip to try other restaurants and lounges. The hotel sits right by the water, with a roomy deck for swimming and sunbathing. We went in June, before high season, so there was lots of space, and the area had a relaxed mix of locals and visitors. Other popular beach clubs like Scorpios, Lucca Beach, and Xuma were only a 5-10 minute taxi ride away. The owners and staff were kind and attentive throughout. They called taxis, exchanged euros, made suggestions, and helped us feel at home. They even packed a sandwich for me to take to the airport, and arranged an extra WiFi router in our room so we could work remotely without connection problems. We stayed in a clean, comfortable two-bedroom room, with two twin beds in one room and a queen in the other, which worked well for three of us friends. It was functional and felt new and solid, with comfortable beds, plenty of storage in the bedroom and hallway, good lighting and outlets by each bed, and a spacious bathroom with a large shower. The cleaning was thorough, even in the corners. Breakfast was included and generous, with eggs, French toast, bread, vegetables, olives, fruit, honey, and jam every morning. It kept us full for hours, and the care they put into serving good food was clear. The restaurant's meals were some of our favorites in Bodrum, especially the seafood salad and the owner's mother's mati recipe. Staff were attentive there too, and offered great suggestions. We also loved the cocktails, which were delicious and reasonably priced. Madda hotel gave us one of our best boutique hotel stays. It's a lovely family-run place, and the restaurant is run by another kind family. We can't wait to return.

The family feel, warm welcome from the managers, and delicious food made this place stand out for us. We were so impressed that we'll stay here again next time we're in Bodrum. Keep up the great work!

The staff were the best part of our stay, so warm, friendly, and helpful. We loved the food and service by the sea, and both breakfast and the coffee were great. The rooms matched what was shown online and were clean, though they weren't especially updated. I'm particular about cleanliness, and they felt and smelled clean. A great choice for a relaxing break in Bodrum.

We slept well, and our room was clean and well equipped, though small and a little dated. There were a few unwanted ants, too. The location is lovely, right on the beach with direct access to clear water, and parking was easy. Breakfast was good quality, but coffee and sucuk cost extra. Sitting at a table on the pier, surrounded by Turkbuku, was wonderful. We were there at the end of September 2023, just before the hotel closed for the season, so it was very quiet and we were almost the only guests. The staff gave very good service and the owners were friendly. We only found out on arrival that the restaurant was closed, which was disappointing. The small extra charges felt like money grabbing, even if each was minor. The hotel was nearly empty, but we weren't offered a room upgrade. We weren't entitled to one, of course, but it would have been an easy way to show care for guests.
