Hamzabey Hotel

I booked a room but left without staying a single night. It was very small, smelled bad, the door wouldn’t close, and there were several other problems I never expected. Don’t trust the photos online or what you’re told by people working there or earning a commission, because the place was completely different when I arrived. They wouldn’t give me a refund either. I don’t recommend going there.

I spent a week at Hotel HamzaBay and came away extremely disappointed. The room was tiny, the bed was dirty, and it looked nothing like the pictures on Google Maps. Housekeeping came only once during the whole week. The front desk staff, who I believe are the owners, were unfriendly and unhelpful, and kept trying to rip us off. That made the stay unpleasant. With the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and misleading room descriptions, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and find somewhere better.

I picked this place because it was near the main street of laleli, but the room had a bad smell, dirty sheets and pillows, and a bathroom that was a nightmare. The water wouldn’t drain while I showered, so it turned into a lake. They told us breakfast was amazing, but I couldn’t eat it because the cleanliness left so much to be desired.

I booked through agoda but didn’t stay a single night. The man was abusive and very rude, and he isn’t even checking me out of the hotel.
