Akkız Han Hotel

Even the cheese is homemade here, along with the jams and olive oil. Breakfast is excellent.

After a long, busy day with my wife, we hoped to enjoy breakfast at Akkızhan Hotel, a place we visit whenever we can. We left without eating and started the day feeling disappointed. We often have breakfast here, and on previous visits we were allowed to sit by the pool, so we went there again despite the grumpy welcome at the entrance. This time, an employee spoke harshly and rudely, saying the area was only for hotel guests. When we explained that we always eat there, they brought us breakfast, but served it with an insulting attitude. A glass broke as they set down the teacups. No one apologized or tried to clean it, and they brushed it off with, “What’s the big deal? Let’s move you to another table.” The whole exchange ruined the mood we’d hoped to have for a pleasant breakfast. The disrespect and indifference were especially disappointing from somewhere we visit so often. We were treated very well today, and compensation was provided, so I’m updating my review. Thank you very much 😊

Everything we ate was delicious and healthy, with food coming straight from their garden to the table. The rooms are brand new and spotless, and the place feels incredibly peaceful. It’s a real family business where every detail is lovely. We’ll be back very soon.
