Anatolian Cave Hotel

You can relax on the terrace and enjoy the view, or take a short walk to a sunset viewpoint. The hotel’s location is great, and the whole place has a lovely, family-like feel. The staff speak very good English and are super helpful. Highly recommended!

The room had a really atmospheric feel and was clean, spacious, cozy, and warm, especially after the cold outside. There was even a Jacuzzi in our room. We had a great rest and enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were excellent in every way, and breakfast was wonderful, fresh, delicious, and authentic. It reminded me of food from childhood.

The room hygiene, two days without hot water, and the manager’s response were serious enough that I’d caution others about staying here. We spent three nights at the hotel, and the experience fell well short of acceptable standards. I usually leave positive feedback, but these problems need to be addressed. In the first room we were given, there was visible black mold on the walls and the humidity was so high the air felt heavy. When we checked the bed, we found what looked like dead bedbugs and bloodstains on the sheets. The hotel’s location is very convenient, and Ahmed, one of the employees, was professional and helpful. He listened with empathy and did his best to address our concerns. Our interaction with the manager was disappointing, though. Even if he knew about these significant problems, he seemed more concerned with making sure we were charged for laundry than with the sanitary and maintenance issues we’d reported. Avoid at all costs, serious concerns regarding hygiene.

The night manager at check-in was great. That’s the only positive I can give this place. From our first night, I started getting horribly itchy bites at night. At first I thought they might be mosquitoes, especially since there were cracks and holes in the door and the room was humid and wet. But we eventually saw bedbugs in the mattress, so I now know the bites were from them. The owner refuses to accept that this hotel, the first place we stayed, caused the bites. My reaction was so severe it ruined the trip, and I had to get medical care from a pharmacy for the allergy. We still have two weeks of vacation left, and now all our clothes and luggage need washing because they’re likely infested. The owner won’t pay for that or take any action. Save your money and stay somewhere the people care and take proper measures against pests. Bed bug infestation and poor management, do not stay here!
