Goreme Reva Hotel

The room was a little dated but worked fine. The hotel is on the flat, north side of Goreme, quiet at night and an easy walk to downtown restaurants. The breakfast bar was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the two dogs at the resort too, they’re lovely.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good, with everything as it should be. The location was just a few minutes’ walk from Goreme center. Staff were kind, and the two cute little dogs were always there to greet us. We had no inconveniences during our stay.

This was the worst experience in Capadocia. The sockets were coming out of the wall, and both the kettle and fridge were broken. When I called about the fridge, he said he couldn’t do anything. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash, and when I called again he said they had provided some kind of three-in-one wash. They also refused to help us carry our luggage downstairs. The seats in the main area and on the rooftop had no cushions at all, with the cushions stacked in different places. The pool was nasty in the morning, then they closed it and said it would stay closed. The pool was the reason we booked this horrible place. The room carpet was filthy and had some kind of stapler pins in it, and one injured my husband's foot. The price was ridiculous for this experience. We stayed at another hotel before this one that was much better. If you have kids, this is a big no, and even as adults, save your money.

We had a room with a balcony, and the hotel has a viewing deck. We didn’t use it for balloon watching because flights were canceled during our visit. The balcony views were superb, with snow all around during our December winter stay. The hotel also has a pool, but it was covered in winter, so swimming wasn’t possible. Food was good with a nice variety, served buffet style, and the staff were respectful. The facilities were good, and I’d book this hotel again if I had the chance.
