Elite Cave Suites

The views were breathtaking, and from my balcony I could watch hot air balloons rise over Cappadocia in the morning. Breakfast had lots of variety, and staff were incredibly friendly and supportive. They arranged all my transfers and tours smoothly, which made things stress-free. The hotel is quiet and peaceful but still just a short walk from the city center. I stayed in two different rooms, both with their own character and a jacuzzi. It was an amazing stay in an authentic cave hotel. The one downside was the lack of air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable on hotter days. Still, it's a great place for a Cappadocia visit.

Our enormous suite overlooked Cappadocia, and my architect husband was impressed by the way the hotel adapted the cave rooms for guests. It felt like my dream hotel stay. The staff checked in with us every day and were very helpful. They sell tours and balloon rides at decent prices, and if you're nervous about taking a balloon ride, you can watch the balloons from your room. We visited in the winter off-season, so the hotel was affordable and accommodating. Parking right out front is limited, but you can park down in the town center if needed, and people seemed pretty relaxed about parking. There's also a pool just past the main dining and breakfast area, which looks like it would be refreshing in summer. We had a great time in Cappadocia, and our stay at Elite Cave Suites was a big part of it. Thanks for everything!

I felt the staff treated us unfairly because of our race. Dogs kept bothering us and peed on the floor, leaving the whole place smelling bad. It seemed like white guests got better hotels while people with darker skin were put in smaller ones, whatever they paid. I urge you not to book unless you're white. The hotel was advertised as five stars, but it deserves much less. It's overrated and overpriced. The breakfast had only 20 items to choose from, and the pictures made the place look better than it was.

The location was lovely, but the bathroom smelled of urine and the odor never went away. I also felt the tour was pointless and uncomfortable, with constant pressure and situations where it seemed we were being set up. The information about the places was random, and they didn't seem to know much about them. I believe the owner and his wife were trying to scam us. Don't buy their tour guide packages, which seemed aimed at pushing fake products. Both of them were involved, as they were the tour guides. It's pathetic to feel the owners themselves are trying to scam you. Beware.
