I was there in 2015. My stay was great, and the breakfast and cleaning were great too. The owner even helped me figure out what had gone wrong with my balloon reservation, though I hadn’t booked it through him. We’d had several problems booking in advance, and he sorted them all out. In return, we booked a tour with him, and it was incredible. I don’t usually write reviews, but when I saw the hotel had only 2.5 stars out of five, I thought I should share this. Great hotel and great people. I’ve told all my friends to go if they ever visit.

The room wasn’t worth the price. There was no hot water, and the shower leaked. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.

The heating was adequate and the rooms weren’t freezing. Breakfast was satisfactory, but there was no internet in the rooms. For what you pay, I’d say it’s not bad, though it’s neither especially good nor bad, that’s all relative. The location seemed good to me, but parking is a problem.

The toilet was dirty, and there was no shampoo or hairdryer. The doors felt like front doors and were hard to open and close. The bed creaked loudly whenever you turned over, and felt like a spring mattress. There wasn’t even a phone in the room to call reception. We paid 200 TL for a “cave room,” but honestly, even a 50 TL guesthouse would be better. It’s just a money trap.
