We felt right at home thanks to the friendly people here. It’s a peaceful spot in the city, and the local center is an easy walk away. We highly recommend it!

The bathroom was tiny and narrow, with rusty, leaky faucets and only lukewarm water on our first night. We asked to change rooms, but they refused, so we eventually had to leave even though we had paid for 8 nights in advance. Management gave us no refund. For the price and the way management handled things, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. We’d booked through a travel agent for a high-floor room with a view, and that had been confirmed. Instead, we arrived to find ourselves in a musty room on the lower ground floor. The location itself is good, but the shared parking with other hotels was inconvenient. On a bad morning, getting our car out could take 20 -30 minutes. Breakfast was good, and there’s a nice open terrace for watching the balloons. But the carpets shown on the website were never out, even after the earlier rainy days had passed.

We had a lovely Turkish breakfast on the terrace, with a nice view of the balloons at sunrise. Our room at matiana cave was clean and had a very traditional feel, and the location worked perfectly for our trip. The staff were helpful throughout. They gave us useful advice and helped us have a good balloon experience. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone planning a good trip!
