Breakfast got better day by day, and the woman in charge of it was so kind, friendly, and helpful. The barman’s service and drinks were great too, though he closed quite early. The only thing that didn’t work was the airco. Definitely a stay worth having!

The view was simply magical, and the cave-style room carved into the rock was especially unique. I stayed for two days, and the staff were kind, friendly, and always ready to do extra to meet guests’ needs. Breakfast was simple but good, just right for the price. The warm, friendly staff made this cave hotel feel especially welcoming, including the two four-legged hosts, Chivas and Whiskey. I loved waking up in a cosy cave room with Cappadocia’s beautiful surroundings and hot air balloons right outside. The hotel was clean and comfortable, mixing historic charm with modern convenience. Its location put me right in the heart of the magic. There were lots of delicious dishes at the buffet breakfast, a perfect start to the day. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend this wonderful, unforgettable place.

We didn’t get to fly in the balloons, but still had wonderful days at the hotel and a stunning view. The pool was open and lit, though it was too cold for us to swim. The staff were friendly and spoke perfect English. Our room was fine, with the experience of sleeping in a cave.

The Wi-Fi kept giving us trouble, and when we asked the staff for help, they seemed uninterested and didn't sort things out. Food was disappointing too, and it didn't seem fresh or clean. There were cats all over the place, including around the restaurant, which made eating feel unhygienic and unappealing. Our room smelled unpleasant and didn't feel properly clean from the start. With the poor hygiene, food, service, and internet, I had a very uncomfortable stay and wouldn't recommend Shoestring Cave Hotel.
