Virtus Cappadocia Hotel

Ali was so friendly and helped us make the most of Cappadocia. He always calls me ‘Cingu’, which means friend in Korean. The food on the top floor was really nice, and the night view was perfect. I strongly recommend this hotel.

I had a very bad experience with the owner, Tolga. He charged me $380 extra for arranging a balloon ride. He sold it to me for $600 for four people, charging $150 per person, but I later found the actual price was $55 per person. When I told him what I'd found and asked for my money back, he argued with me and told me to take him to the place selling the same ride for $55. I took him to the shop after he had been so nasty. Once he saw the price, he said he'd kick me out of the hotel if I wanted a refund, even though I had already paid in advance for three nights. He yelled at me badly. He disappeared for the next two days and never returned the $380 extra he'd charged to book the ride. I kept asking the staff where he was so I could get my money back, and they told me he'd been fired, even though he's the hotel owner. The service was very bad and disappointing, and I felt scammed out of $380. I'll never return or recommend this hotel to anyone. A very, very bad experience.

We'd come back whenever we visit Cappadocia. The team was great, especially the manager, who was very friendly and helped us sort out a problem with our ATV tour. It's an excellent hotel where you can relax while staying close to everything. Highly recommended.

I regret booking this hotel. The music at night was so loud that I couldn't sleep, and there were too many problems caused by staff negligence or human error. Reception staff need to improve their customer service and etiquette.
