La Mer

At breakfast, the kitchen manager argued with us because our group wanted to put two tables together for our last meal. He also threatened our tour guide, saying he knew a tour guide in Antalya and would make sure she never got work in Turkey again if we complained. All that over wanting to sit and eat together, in a place that’s supposed to be a family hotel. The rooms were very outdated and dirty. Towels and sheets were worn out, with holes and tears, and there was no internet in the rooms. The coffee was so bad I brought my own, and the breakfast cheese tasted like salted plastic. A really awful hotel.

Mr. Enis was especially warm and helpful, and his friendly manner made us feel at home right away. Our stay was wonderful, with clean, comfortable rooms and a very pleasant atmosphere. We’d happily recommend this hotel and would love to return. Best regards from Sara.

The grounds were lovely, with cats wandering around and great views of both the mountains and the sea. We had a really enjoyable family holiday here last week. The pool was clean, drinks at the bar were good, and the staff were friendly. We paid an extra $40 and were quickly moved to a larger room, though parts of the hotel look dated. Our room had a few problems: the air conditioning didn’t work well, housekeeping didn’t come even when we put out the cleaning sign, and Wi-Fi only worked at reception. Good mobile data is useful here. The food was tasty overall, if a bit repetitive. There was plenty of fresh fruit, lovely desserts, good fish at dinner, and snacks by the pool. The beach was clean, with sand and pebbles, and the water was very warm. Water shoes made getting in a little easier, but we managed without them too. You’ll want to get up early for a good lounger under an umbrella. It’s not really a five-star hotel, but we had an excellent time and I’d recommend it. One thing that bothered us was how many russian guests there were and how warmly the Turkish staff welcomed them.

Perre La Mer in Kemer was a really fun, comfortable stay. Everything seemed well looked after, from the relaxing, clean pool area with room to unwind to the beach, with its clear water, lovely views, and great atmosphere. We looked forward to the meals every day. There was lots to choose from, and the food was fresh and delicious. Emre Bey, Ismail, and Volkan were especially welcoming and fun to be around. Their enthusiasm really added to our holiday, and it was clear they enjoy their work. We had a wonderful time and would happily recommend the hotel for a relaxing, lively break. Already looking forward to coming back!
