Jasmin Beach Hotel Bodrum

I've been here three years running, and the staff are fantastic. The food was excellent at every meal, with a great selection. The views are lovely, and the beach is just across a small access road. Local shops are about a 10-minute walk away. September is still good for sunbathing, though the pool water is very cool. Our private transfer to the hotel was quick and easy. Highly recommended.

The staff were all polite, friendly, and helpful with information. The pool area is great, with a sea view from the pool bar. In the evenings, the buffet had a good range and good-quality food. The location is fantastic, close to both the city and the waterfront. The rooms are small but clean. I'd definitely like to come back.

We arrived at 1 AM in October 2025, and things were disappointing right away. Our room had no bedding except a bed runner, the sockets were loose and didn't work, and the door lock wouldn't work from inside. At 2:30 AM, housekeeping came in and dropped off two uncovered quilts that were filthy and stained. The shower wouldn't drain, so water spilled into the toilet area and we had to keep our showers short because of the slip risk. Apparently, there was no other room available. The food was far below par: hot dishes were cold, the breakfast cereal was stale, and the watermelon was the best part 🙄. The gym was disgusting, with gum on the machines, sweat marks on equipment, dust everywhere, and floor mats rotting from lack of cleaning. Cigarette butts and ashtrays around the rooftop pool hadn't been cleared either. There was hardly any entertainment. This shouldn't be rated four stars. Very disappointing.

We loved the Terrace Bar, which we visited several times. The Ala Carte food was delicious, even with the smaller menu, and we also enjoyed the regular menu and English breakfast with English sausage and bacon. Jimmy and Nigel were wonderful with our family. On arrival at 2 AM, Nigel made sure we had drinks and pizzas. The buffet restaurant was fantastic too, with lots of hot dishes, fresh salads, cheeses, and a good outdoor grill, despite my worries after reading reviews. Our rooms were spacious and clean, with fresh towels every day. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. When our son cut his foot and needed stitches, the Hotel Dr helped right away, and he couldn't use the pool. Anne from Guest services went out of her way in her own time to find him a foot cover so he could get in the pools during his last week. The staff and Entertainment team kept checking on him. Our only issue was that some dishes weren't labelled, so we had to guess what they were.
