Three Doors Cappadocia

The host was warm and welcoming, and our room was comfortable, lovely, and warm. In the small village of Ibrahimpasa, the hotel is a good fit if you want peace and proper relaxation instead of a busy town. Highly recommend!

There’s a shared kitchen with everything we needed, and the rooms are beautiful. I liked that it’s in a real town rather than some random tourist spot. The owner was a genuinely nice, cool person. I can only recommend it.

The setting was a real surprise, right beside the cliff edge of a dry riverbed, with stunning views all around. We were on a mountain biking holiday and stayed for one night, our third night of the trip. It was easily the nicest and most luxurious hotel we'd had so far, with no roughing it here. Each cave room had its own look, stylishly designed with thoughtful personal touches. Some had heated floors, including in the bathrooms. Mük takes great pride in the place and made us feel genuinely welcome. Yasmin cooked us a generous traditional Turkish dinner, and every dish was delicious and spot on. She isn't available all the time, though, so we were lucky to have her cooking. There are also two short-haired cats wandering around as if they own the place. They’re both very lovable.

It’s a peaceful area, about a ten-minute drive from the main tourist towns, and the owner is friendly and full of useful travel tips. One room even has a romantic terrace inside the cave. I’d recommend the hotel if you want quiet away from Gomere while staying close to the attractions. Getting in by car is a little tricky, but parking is easy in the town square, around 100 metres from the door.
