Club Aquarium

The hotel has been revamped and looks great, and the staff are lovely. It’s a lovely place and I’d highly recommend it, though it’s at the back of icmeler.

The pools and food were great, and the rooms were clean and adequate. The staff really made the holiday fun. They were so friendly, always ready to help, and a real credit to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would recommend it. The only issue was paying extra for air con, which we needed in that heat.

We’ll be back as soon as we can. After waiting a few weeks to write this, I’ve decided this may have been my favourite holiday ever. The hotel was just the right size, with two full-sized pools and a shallow toddler pool, and there was no scramble for sunloungers. The food was excellent and stood up to the local restaurants. My favourite meal across our two weeks was the burger from the lunch menu. Every member of staff was polite, attentive and genuine, and it felt like coming into a family home each day. Oppa at the bar would make any drink and have a lovely chat, like a wise uncle. The chefs were always cheerful and polite, Sally the host was attentive, and Gege and bucky from the entertainment team brought everyone together with silly fun without being overbearing, like old school friends. Thank you all for such a beautiful holiday.

I wouldn’t come back. You can’t bring food or drinks to the pool, so you have to use the pool bar. Even when they don’t sell a chocolate there, children can’t eat it by the pool. I like having coffee or tea beside the pool, but I kept getting warned, and it nearly turned into a fight. If you aren’t buying from the bar all the time, staff barely even say good morning. One employee who plays darts would greet the people beside you and ignore you. The fridge in our room wasn’t working when we arrived, but thankfully they fixed it quickly. It felt like making money came before customer satisfaction. I found much nicer places in Marmaris.
