Munamar Park

The location just off the main strip was a little quieter, and the pool was a good size with sun all day. The pool bar staff were great, though the area around the loungers was very dirty and clearly wasn't being kept clean as the hotel was about to close. We were told on arrival, 15 Sep 23, that it would shut in two days, and all-inclusive guests had to walk five minutes to the sister hotel to use those facilities. That was a hassle when we wanted to relax. The rooms were dated but clean and quiet, and we didn't unpack because we were due to move. Munamar beach, the sister hotel, wasn't a good all-inclusive option and didn't seem worth the price. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. I'm not sure if there's a bus, but the facilities you use are at Munamar beach. There's a free bus to street bar, and Marmaris is a cheap bus ride away. The weather was amazing that time of year. I'd book through On the beach and its sister group sunshine again, but I'd look elsewhere for a hotel. This place could be much better if it were updated and offered just BnB.

We landed at 1:30am on 22 May 23 and found the hotel shut. Apparently it had been closed since September, even though Love holidays had accepted our booking in March 23. We called their emergency number several times that morning, but they didn't do much to help, and the person on the line didn't know the hotel was closed either. Not wanting to be stuck in a strange country with nowhere to go, we found another hotel nearby by chance. That's when we learned we'd been booked into it, but Love holidays hadn't told us before we travelled. Not a company I'd call good to book with.

A warning if you've booked through On The Beach: this hotel shuts in mid September. We were left stranded when we arrived to find it closed. On The Beach is sending holidaymakers to a hotel that's shut. DO NOT TRAVEL here.

The place is badly outdated, and despite being all-inclusive, you have to walk about 250 yards down the road for meals. There's only a tiny bar by the pool, and the beer was watered down. Stay away.
