Oliva Verde Hotel

The pool and bar are great, and breakfast was sufficient. It's a short walk to the beach, but that wasn't a big issue. The rooms were the best I've stayed in in Türkiye. I loved everything about the hotel and can't wait to return.

The location suited us perfectly, peaceful but still close to restaurants and bars, with a Migros just a 2 minute walk away. The owner dealt with an issue we had very promptly and to our satisfaction, and was very apologetic. The hotel looks beautiful inside and out, with spacious modern rooms and a lovely, well-kept pool area. I'd definitely recommend it for a short or long stay.

The location is peaceful, even though the hotel is right in the center of İçmeler. There was no noise at night, and shops, entertainment and the beach are all within walking distance. Breakfast had only a limited choice of hot items, but it was tasty and enough for us. Tea and coffee were unlimited, including by the pool after breakfast. Our rooms also had tea, coffee and, especially useful for me, water, all replenished daily. The rooms were cleaned every day without us asking, with towels and sheets changed, and the housekeeper did a great job. This small, elegant hotel is newly built, with high-quality new furniture and beds, spacious rooms and lovely design. The pool was clean and beautifully designed. Mr. Ramazan and his wife run this wonderful family hotel, and all the staff were attentive. Thank you all, and we hope to see you next year.

The location was very good, close to everything, and the small size of the hotel meant it was quiet. The rooms and common areas were very clean. But I wouldn't recommend staying here if you expect service. It may suit someone who just wants a clean room to sleep in and can handle any problems themselves. I called 1-2 weeks before the trip to book a room with a balcony, not on the ground floor, at an agreed price. I spoke with Behçet and sent him one-third of the payment. At the hotel, reception said they couldn't reach an agreement with Behçet and that he was the hotel owner. We paid the balance, and the owner showed us a room without a balcony. When I reminded him of what Behçet and I had agreed, he said there was no balcony room at that price and no such note in the reservation. I asked him to call Behçet, and he replied that Behçet had done this again, which was why his employment had been terminated. The owner said a balcony room would cost extra, around 1000 TL. I refused, since the issue between him and his employee wasn't my responsibility. Luckily, Behçet had messaged me when I sent the deposit to confirm that the booking was for a balcony room, not on the ground floor. I showed the message to the owner. He said he needed to ask his family, and we all went downstairs. After 15-20 minutes, he finally gave us the room we were entitled to, then asked us not to tell anyone about the 1000 TL discount, not 5-10 thousand. Breakfast the next day was inadequate. The only hot choices were french fries and boiled eggs, and instant coffee and water cost extra. There was no one at reception at night either. One night the air conditioner broke, and nobody answered when I called. I went downstairs and looked around the pool and bar for someone in charge, but nobody was there, and no one called back. When I asked the cleaners to change our glasses the next day, they said they had no more and were washing them. They took ours away and returned them washed 3-4 minutes later. There was only one type of pillow, and it was too high for me. If you want a choice of pillow, I suggest bringing your own.
