Ramada by Wyndham Isparta

I was given a corner suite as a surprise upgrade, with a separate bedroom, living room and bathroom. It was well insulated from weather and sound, so outside noise barely came through. The bed setup was the one small snag: there was only a thick blanket and no flat sheet. I called reception, and they brought me another blanket. We were here for one night with a tour group, and this was one of the newer hotels we've stayed at in Turkey. The top-floor restaurant has a beautiful city view, and both dinner and breakfast were quite good.

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and smiling, which made us feel welcome as a family staying one night. Gurbuz was a big help and called around to find the rental car we needed. We also enjoyed the breakfast, with plenty of choices. There were a couple of problems, though. We'd booked a non-smoking room through booking.com, but it smelled strongly of cigarettes, and the spray we asked for didn't really help. The extra bed we paid for turned out to be a broken sofa bed. After we complained, they put a mattress on top of it, but it was still quite uncomfortable. They should replace the sofa.

The breakfast was very good, and the hotel was clean. The manager, Mr. Murat, was welcoming and attentive, and checked that everything was going fine.

Every staff member was lovely, but I wouldn't stay here again because of the noise. I chose it specifically because the information said the rooms were "soundproof," and they weren't. The only room available for my six-day booking was a suite. Apparently there are just two non-smoking suites, and I saw both. Each had a lot of noise from traffic or construction outside, which matters a lot to me.
