We left with bug bites, and I can’t recommend this hotel. The room had such a heavy cigarette smell that we couldn’t even use the air conditioner. There was black mold in the shower. Housekeeping scrubbed it after we complained, but some remained. The carpet was very dirty, and even the toilet paper had been rerolled from rolls left by previous guests. The price didn’t feel reasonable.

The room was ordinary and nothing special, but at the price we paid it met our expectations. You get what you pay for. The service, though, was great. We don’t speak Turkish, and the woman at the desk went out of her way to help us and point us toward places to eat. Five stars for her, three for the room, so four overall.

The bathroom is a little small, but the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. The location is good, and the hotel is very good for the price.
