The staff were nice, and the rooms were okay for the price. It could work if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep alone, but there’s no soundproofing, so you hear all the noise. Breakfast was really poor, with almost nothing to choose from.

The breakfast was very good, and they kept replenishing the food as soon as items ran out. The rooms are small, though there’s heating and hot water in the bathroom. Abbas helped my mother and me after the tourism company foolishly cancelled our reservation. He cared about what had happened and made calls to help us get the room we were entitled to. I’ll never forget how much he cooperated with us.

The receptionist was really kind and spoke English well. His son or nephew, Yasar, was a very kind young man too. The location is good, about a 15-minute walk from Fatih Camii and the bazaar.

The owner is a very kind, helpful man who will assist whenever you need him. Our reservation also included breakfast and tea and coffee whenever we wanted, all for a very good price. The rooms are spacious, with a private toilet and shower. There’s a lot close by: Aksaray and Yenikapı metro stations, the tram, Marmaray metro station, and the shopping area. It’s right next to Simit Sarayı. Walk along the street and you’ll find it after Ziraat Bank.
