We could easily walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia from Abelia Hotel, so getting around on foot was simple. It’s a family-run place with a warm, personal feel. Our room was small but fine for two people traveling light. Breakfast was a real highlight, very complete and Turkish-style. The staff were also wonderful. The owner even kindly drove us to the bus stop for our return, a personal gesture you don’t get from chain hotels.

Abelia Mansion Hotel was a great choice for our family vacation. The rooms were clean, bright with natural light, and big enough for us. The host and staff were friendly and helpful, and really seemed set on making our stay a good one. It’s central without being right in the noise, with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The T1 tram stop is around a 10-12 minute walk and connects to all the main places to visit.

I liked the hotel very much. It was clean, warm in winter, well located, and the service was good. The staff were supportive and wonderful. Special thanks to Me.Berat, an amazing, always-smiling and helpful man. Breakfast was simple and delicious, thanks to the ladies who made it early each morning. There were two downsides. Construction at the neighboring hotel started early and was very noisy. Also, it’s a wooden building, so you can easily hear phone conversations from the rooms above, below, or next door, and feel footsteps through the ceiling.

The rooms were really warm, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. They even arranged a birthday surprise, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of it. The place was clean and tidy too. Just a small downside, there isn’t much space, and the walls are thin, though we didn’t hear any noise.

We stayed one night before going on to Bursa. The location was great and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was delicious, and my wife liked the coffee too. If you’re driving, their own parking lot is a huge help. That’s easy to underestimate, since I’d heard other places charge a lot for nearby parking. For reference, my car GPS shows how central we were in the old town.
