I was here with 10 students for Erasmus, and the owner helped us a lot, sharing all the information we needed. The hotel itself was very good, with clean, nice rooms where I felt comfortable. One practical warning: bring plenty of euros in cash to Türkiye, because card payments can be very expensive for the hotel. If you run out of cash, you may have to withdraw Turkish lira from an ATM. A 25,000 TL withdrawal, about €620, came with an €80 commission.

I visited Acar in 2023 and had an amazing experience. The hospitality was lovely, and the hotel is near Ortakoy mosque. The room was a little small, but clean and cozy. I’m planning to come back!

I’ve just returned from my second stay, and I’ll definitely book again next time I’m in Istanbul. The location is top notch, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. There’s a little street noise, but it didn’t keep me from sleeping.
