Ada Apart Hotel

The location was a plus, about a 20-minute walk from the Gran Bazar, and on our last day they let us leave our bags at reception so we didn’t need to rent a locker. The bathroom, though, was a disaster, with black mold everywhere and a strong smell. The beds didn’t look clean enough, and the extra “couch” was broken, uneven, and hard to sleep on.

The price was okay and the staff were nice, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. The rooms were dirty, the fridge didn’t work, and there was a strange bad smell. There’s also another door leading to the back terrace that doesn’t lock properly.

The room had bugs and cockroaches, and the refrigerator was burned out and didn’t work. There’s a door in the wall leading to the street, but its lock is broken, so it won’t close even though this is the third floor. The terrace is ridiculous, and the hotel was dirty. The stairs are narrow and very dangerous.

We paid for two days, but left on the day we checked in because the room was full of cockroaches. The water heater didn’t work, and the sheets, walls, appliances, and everything else in the room were dirty. The place looked nothing like its online photos. I stayed here with my family in January. Staff were rude, and I allege they stole a smartphone, gold jewelry, and money from my mother’s handbag. I filed a police complaint, and the investigation is still ongoing. The staff included the manager, who sleeps on the lobby couch, an African woman at reception, and a helper boy. This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Be careful, because I believe these kinds of hotels in the Fatih area are there to steal and scam you.
