Breakfast on the top floor came with a lovely view, and the nearby Arastaa bazaar is small but beautiful. Troy Rugs had lovely carpets at honest prices, and there’s also a linen and towel shop with nice things. There are plenty of other shops, too, just be ready to negotiate. We stayed seven nights at the end of Nov 2025, our first time at this hotel after many trips to Istanbul. Mr Kadir, the manager, was charming and very helpful. The location is ideal, close to both the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. We could get to the mosques just 2-3 mins before the adzhan. Our deluxe room with a balcony was comfortable, with a recently refurbished, very nice bathroom. It felt more modern than the traditional Turkish hotels in Sultanahmet.

Having breakfast on the rooftop, with Istanbul’s old skyline spread out around us, was a relaxing way to start the day. From up there we could see the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Our room had its own memorable view of both landmarks, too, especially at sunrise and in the evening from the balcony. It felt surreal, and we’ll remember it for a long time. The hotel sits close to Sultanahmet Square, so the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace are all an easy walk away. The airport bus stop is right beside the hotel, which made arriving and leaving with luggage simple. Walking and public transport were both convenient for getting around Istanbul. After sightseeing, we were glad to come back to a clean, cozy room. It was well maintained, had the amenities we needed for a short or longer stay, and housekeeping did a good job. The staff were warm and helpful from check-in through checkout. They helped with bags, directions, and suggestions for the area, and made us feel welcome. Armagrandi Spina Hotel was one of the highlights of our Istanbul trip. We’d gladly stay again and recommend it, especially if you want to be surrounded by history and enjoy some of the city’s best views.

We had plenty of time before the plane, and the staff kindly kept our suitcases both when we arrived and when we left. They helped straight away, and the receptionists were especially nice and full of useful tips. The hotel is well located, with everything about a 5-10 minute walk away. 🕌🤘🏻

Khalil and Ayberk were both kind and helpful while we were there. The hotel was clean and very nice, right in the middle of the city's main sights. Highly recommend.
