Art Pera Suites

Kenan was the standout for us. He was available whenever we needed something and clearly cared about making guests feel welcome and looked after. The apartment itself was lovely, with good beds, attractive finishes, and everything we needed for a few days, including complimentary water, coffee, and tea. It looked new, and the Booking description and photos were accurate. We also loved the location: just 2-3 minutes from the metro and funicular, with Galata Bridge and Istiklal street nearby for shopping, clubbing, and people watching. We were very satisfied with everything and would happily return to Art Pera.

The place was clean, though not spotless, and the furniture felt a little worn. The location and decoration were both nice.

Kenan was easy to talk to and checked in with us every day to see if we needed anything. His instructions for getting into the property were thorough, too. My wife and I loved our time here. The room was clean and roomy, with a clean bathroom and kitchen, plus a really spacious balcony. We were glad there was a washing machine, and the hotel also has an elevator. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, shops, boutiques, tourist areas, Galata Tower, and Taxim Square. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Kenan was especially helpful when we had a medical emergency in the middle of the night. He called an ambulance, translated for us with the medical staff, gave us useful advice on the logistics, and kept checking in to make sure we had what we needed. He also arranged transport to and from the hotel, which took a lot off our plate. We stayed six days in a lively, central area, with restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, pharmacies, and souvenir shops close by. The subway is right outside, so it was easy to explore other parts of Istanbul. I felt safe walking alone in the evening, though the street is busy with locals and tourists, and light sleepers may want earplugs. Our third-floor apartment had a balcony where we enjoyed coffee and wine, along with plenty of storage. It was well equipped with slippers, robes, drinking water, a hair dryer, cooking supplies, and coffee and tea. If I return to Istanbul, I would stay at Art Pera Suites again.
