I found a room with a wet floor from a broken water system, and management still rented it out. The towel was terrible too, more like an old kitchen napkin, but they still expected payment to use it. If cleanliness, comfort, and facilities matter to you, this hotel may not suit you. It is close to sultanahmet mosque, though.

We only came for dinner at the rooftop restaurant, which welcomes people who aren’t staying at the hotel. The hotel looked lovely, the food was very good, and the view was fantastic. Prices were no higher than at other nearby restaurants, but the meal was much better. The wine was a little cheaper too, and the red tasted far better. Sadly, we only found Artemis on our last evening in Istanbul. We would have gone back.

The owner was kind, but the man at reception had a bad attitude. On our first night, the beds were bad and uncomfortable, and there was no hot water. The remotes had no batteries, so we had to turn things on and off by hand. Nobody cleaned my room for three days. There were other problems too.

Breakfast was tasty, though exactly the same every day. The hotel is good and clean, but the rooms are small. The rooftop view is incredible.

The location was great, and Amine was one very helpful staff member. That’s about all I liked. I stayed in August 2018, and the rooms and sheets were very dirty, the shower was tiny and filthy, the staircase was narrow and uncomfortable, and the WiFi signal was very weak. The pictures looked 100% different from reality. Personally, I don’t recommend it.
