The room kept getting colder through the night because the windows, made from glass balconies, wouldn't shut all the way. Though reception said the floor heating would warm it up, it was freezing until morning. There wasn't a phone in the room, so I couldn't reach the desk. I woke at 3 am when new guests arrived, and a mosquito came in through the open window. The TV had no channels. In the bathroom, the toilet lid was up and the toilet paper had already been used. Hot water was good and there was a hairdryer, but I could only find one face towel and no bath towels. For 1200 TL a night, breakfast wasn't included. Parking was difficult too, with cars left on a steep dead-end hill. Atirus Anka Hotel has taken the place of Ema Hotel in a central location. The first-floor rooms seem to have been made from the administrative building, and when we stayed there was renovation work at the road-facing entrance. If you want to feel like you're in a horror movie instead of watching one, I'd recommend staying here. I hope the issues get fixed for future guests.

As the business owner, I'd like to thank you for your interest. We are renovating and doing construction at the hotel, so there are still a few shortcomings, though only a few things remain as of today. The rooms, reception, and exterior have all been redone, but the current photos haven't been uploaded yet, so the old ones are still showing. We've run hotels in Büyükçekmece for years, and this is our second hotel, which we recently took over. Please don't be misled by negative reviews; some people have written absurd things, so we wanted to explain. No one has to stay with us. Anyone unhappy can cancel and get a refund. We also have newly built private bungalow houses at the property. We're a family with many years in the business, and our customers matter most to us. Respectfully, I wish you good health.

I liked staying there back when it was Ema Hotel. This time, though, I wasn't happy with the cleanliness.
