Even though it's near the airport, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and felt safe. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and we slept peacefully after a long travel day. The reception team were welcoming and ready to help. Sabiha Gökçen Airport is so close that getting there was easy and stress-free, especially handy for early flights or a transit stop. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a range of options, and the comfort and service felt well worth the price.

My daughter, friends, and I arrived in Istanbul and were told there was no electricity, so we couldn't stay in the room. When we asked for our money back, they told us to contact Booking.com. As the situation unfolded, it seemed to us the hotel had a whole setup to scam guests. Firat at the front desk locked us in and made us call the police. We weren't the only ones. Another woman had paid for a room and faced the same problem. When the police came, the owner laughed at us and said their involvement wouldn't get us anywhere. In the end, he offered us a room with no water or heating, as he had apparently done with other guests before us. This was a scam, and I'll make sure people hear about it.

Ahmet was the highlight of my stay. He was gentle, kind, professional, and spoke several languages, so it was easy and pleasant to communicate with him. The room itself was decent too. I had Room 622 with a Jacuzzi, though the air conditioner didn’t cool it properly. The service team caused the biggest problem. I asked the hotel to arrange a taxi to avoid common taxi scams in Turkey, and made clear I wanted a round trip between the hotel and airport for €10. Instead, I paid €10 for the airport ride only, and the driver wouldn’t bring me back. That trip normally costs €3-€5. When I complained, staff weren’t helpful. Dedar said the hotel would cover a taxi next time as compensation. Later, when I contacted them to arrange it, they ignored my message and never got back to me.
