216 Prestige Hotel

I found the room clean and comfortable, and it was well looked after during my stay of about two weeks for work. The staff were kind and helpful the whole time. It worked out well for a longer business trip.

The room temperature was the biggest problem for us. We booked two rooms, and in one, neither the room nor floor heating would switch off. After two days of complaints they moved us, but the next room had much the same issue. My wife tried to sleep with the window open to cool down, though the main road right outside made it noisy. That’s the main reason for my four-star rating. There were smaller frustrations too, like not being allowed to use the ground-floor microwave to warm food for the kids. The bathrooms are well equipped, but the shower holders need improvement. The water points at the opposite wall, and you can’t position the head above you unless you hold it by hand. The hotel itself is quite modern, with nice decor. Nearby dining is limited, and most of the restaurants are expensive. The staff do try to help when asked, although very few speak or understand English.

Perfect, my friend at reseption, very nice people. I love you, prestige.

The staff were really nice and friendly, and the room was big. Still, I could hear a guest snoring in another room, and there was hair on the bedsheets. For a proper Turkish breakfast, you’re better off going to a nearby restaurant or cafeteria.
