It was my first visit to Istanbul and to this hotel. Getting to the main transport hubs is easy from here: metro, tram, and boat via the (Tunel). Restaurants are plentiful within walking distance and the quality was good. It’s not the Ritz, and the photos make it look a little more embellished than it is, but the place is spotlessly clean. The staff are helpful and engaged, and the rooms are a decent enough size since you’re only sleeping there. For a very reasonable price, you’re right in the heart of the city. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

I care a lot about cleanliness, and I felt comfortable here because it’s clearly a priority. It’s also a reassuringly safe place for women traveling alone. I’ve stayed several times and keep coming back. The location makes it easy to get around Istanbul, but the staff are what make the place special. Everyone, from reception to housekeeping and the spa team, was friendly and helpful. I felt I was in good hands. Thanks to every one of them.

The staff were helpful and knew what they were doing, especially Ayse, who cleaned our room, and the reception team. The hotel is in a good spot and the service was very good, so I’d still recommend staying here. I took off a star because the room was small, the windows weren’t insulated and it could get noisy at night. The building itself also feels older.

There’s plenty of nightlife around if that’s what you’re after, and the hotel is close to the main pedestrian shopping street that leads to Taksim square. Karikoy is also a short walk downhill, with a crossing over to the old town. For the price, it’s hard to fault the place. Transport links make exploring Istanbul easy, and the staff were kind and friendly the whole time.
