The room was noisy, and it was hard to relax or sleep properly. Wi-Fi barely worked, and the mobile signal inside was very weak. Cleanliness was poor from the first day, and the room smelled bad. The sheets and towels didn’t seem to be changed properly, the trash was often overflowing, and the area around the air conditioner and outside the window was extremely dirty and neglected. The hotel needs serious improvement in hygiene, maintenance, and comfort. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We booked seven nights based on the photos and positive reviews, but the stay was one of our worst experiences. The room was filthy and smelled unbearable. Dust was everywhere, the floors were dirty, there was hair all over the bed, and dead insects inside the duvet. The toilet and shower were dirty too, there was no hand soap, and the extra bed was broken and unusable. Soon after entering, the three of us started sneezing and itching and having allergic reactions, which made us even more worried about the hygiene. We felt especially unsafe in the surrounding area as three women traveling alone. It looked nothing like what was shown online and made us uncomfortable as soon as we arrived. Because of the cleanliness and safety concerns, we had to leave at 2AM and urgently book another hotel at extra cost. The online photos and reviews didn’t reflect the real condition at all. It was stressful and unacceptable, and absolutely not worth the money. I strongly warn others against staying here.

I work as a tour operator and travel around the world, so I know it can be hard to find a good hotel in Istanbul when photos don’t always match what you get. This small, cozy hotel in the heart of Istiklal Street has long been my first choice. It looks just as pictured, and is clean, organized, and comfortable. The staff are polite, friendly, and ready to help. I highly recommend staying here and having tea at the café by the entrance while watching the city go by.

I spent some time at the hotel cafe and lobby with the owners, and their warmth and hospitality stood out most. The space was neatly arranged. They invited us to dinner, and we danced together, making for a lovely evening with a great atmosphere. The hotel is in Taksim, close to public transit and all the conveniences, but on a quiet street.

Just a couple of minutes on foot from Istiklal caddesi, this was a cozy, clean, comfortable place in a great location. The owners and staff are lovely and really look after you, always friendly and attentive. I’d definitely come back!
