Casa Suit

The morning receptionist was helpful on the phone and when we arrived, and the bathroom was much better than the room. We stayed one night and put up with the issues because the hotel is new and the room was priced about as expected. It’s very close to Ümraniye city center, right on the road, with a cafe downstairs that could do well if it got some business. But the layout still seems unfinished, and housekeeping was a real problem. The floors hadn’t been swept and still had hair from previous guests, while the cupboards were so dusty I felt uneasy putting our belongings there even after wiping them with a wet towel. There are apparently only two housekeeping staff. We also had to call to ask for towels, since there weren’t any in the room. The AC remote was missing too. The room was hot in the middle of the night, and I didn’t call reception again, so we couldn’t use the air conditioning at all. I think housekeeping needs major improvement.

I booked through Hotels.com for 1575 TL per night, but when I called the hotel they said I’d have to pay 4000 TL per night when I arrived because I hadn’t paid yet. I cancelled the reservation and strongly advise against staying here. I’m against businesses that engage in profiteering.

I switched here after the apartment I’d booked the night before had a terrible smell, and this hotel smelled fresh and floral. Even the towels and sheets were spotless and smelled lovely. It’s roomy, easy to get around from, and there’s a cafe downstairs. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great value for the money, thank you!

The staff were polite and respectful, and the place was spacious and very clean. I’d definitely recommend it.
