We spent 5 nights in an economy room. The rooms were very clean, though there was so much humidity that we had to leave the window open to get rid of the smell. Breakfast was plentiful and good, including some traditional pastries. The position is excellent, close to the metro for the airport and the tram for Sultanhamet. We spent an afternoon at the Spa and really enjoyed it. The staff were lovely, and Nil gave us a great Turkish bath. From the terrace there’s a great view of the mosques. The prayers are very loud outside, but with the window shut you can barely hear them in the room. Good value for Istanbul, and I’d recommend it and come back.

For my honeymoon I’d hoped to relax and enjoy the stay, and at first everything was perfect. The hotel was clean and beautiful, the service was very nice, and whenever I asked for anything the staff brought it right away. Then I went to the pool. As I was swimming normally from one end to the other, the person in charge told me to swim “slowly.” I didn’t understand what they meant. They said water was splashing around the pool, but that’s normal when someone swims, so I don’t see why it should be my problem.

The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Rooms were spotless and comfortable, with a lovely design. The calm atmosphere and elegant surroundings made for an enjoyable stay.

The morning of my early checkout, staff said I hadn’t paid for additional services and demanded the money again, even though I had paid in full at reception the day before. I explained what had happened, but they didn’t believe me, and the situation escalated until security was involved. I was travelling with my 8-month-old baby, which made the whole thing extremely stressful and upsetting for both of us. They only admitted I’d already paid after checking the cameras. The poor communication and incompetence were shocking. Such basic mistakes shouldn’t happen, and the way staff handled it was even worse. The staff clearly aren’t properly trained, and internal communication at this hotel is a disaster. I’d strongly advise others to think twice before staying here. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The day before checkout, I personally went to reception and paid for all extra services, including the taxi and items in the room. The experience was absolutely unacceptable.

It’s right in the center, close to the metro and several tourist attractions, with shops all around. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are wonderful, quiet, and have very comfortable beds. Breakfast is good and offers plenty of choice: fried onions, fresh fruit, chips, cold meats, fried eggs cooked in front of you, cheeses, olives, and desserts like rice pudding. A beautiful hotel, and one I can recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul.
