In the Galata area, this hostel makes a great base for exploring Istanbul. The location is great, the facilities are clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Everything was organized well, and the friendly staff were always attentive and helpful. I'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

My husband and I were here for two nights, and Ibo and Hicham made us feel so welcome in Istanbul. They shared lots of tips for places to eat and go out, and we also had a great time at a jamsession in the hostel. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Thanks for such a lovely first stay in Istanbul!

i really loved this hostel. the staff were so nice, and everything was very clean. the toilet was always clean, and so were the bed and sheets. they let me use the toilet after check out and keep my bags there, and they even checked on me when i arrived really sick. i'd totally come back!!!

We paid €360 for four nights in a private room for three, but the stay wasn't worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend it. The room was unhygienic: the sheets were dirty, the bathroom smelled strongly of sewage and mold, and its door wouldn't close all the way. There was no cleaning service or fresh towels during our stay, and the mattresses and blankets were old and uncomfortable. Booking was a problem too. Our original room was canceled two weeks later, then showed up again at a higher price, so we had to book again and pay more.

Cheers Midtown has a perfect location and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Ibrahim was especially helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. He made everything easy and shared great tips. I had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
