For just a night or two, this hostel is okay, though it isn't cheap at all. I paid €15 per night for a very tiny private room with five beds. If you're staying longer in Istanbul, I'd suggest checking AIRBNB for a private apartment.
The staff were kind and helpful, and the price was pretty good. I stayed for a week. It's close to the city center, and the rooms are clean, though small and basic, with just one power outlet for the whole room.
The crew were very nice, and the hostel is right in the heart of Taksim district. A private room with its own toilet cost 35 Eur, which is cheap. The rooms themselves are VERY basic.
Good host, nice guys, and lovely food. Don't miss it!
