Citadines Maslak Istanbul

The room felt more like a roomy studio apartment than a hotel room, with a kitchen, fridge, washing machine and iron. We paid far less than it seemed worth. It also had a large balcony, an amazing view, easy climate controls and a TV you could browse the internet on. The building is brand new and the rooms were immaculate. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so we didn't need the car. Getting to the hotel itself can be tricky, and parking takes some figuring out since it's a block away and shared with apartments. We could have used a few more hangers by the entrance. The bed and bathroom are better shown in the pictures than described.

Anil made my early-morning check-in after a red-eye flight feel much easier. I wasn't looking forward to arriving in the small hours, but his hospitality really lifted the experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the professional staff went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Great experience, 10/10 if you need to be in Maslak.

The view was breathtaking, and Mr. Mehmet at reception kindly upgraded our room. The rest of the reception team were lovely too, and the staff throughout were warm, polite and always ready to help. When my friend lost her shoes on the stairs between floors 0 and 19, they really tried to track them down and managed to return them to us. The hotel has modern, clean design and comfortable furniture. There are cafés and restaurants just below, plus a nearby taxi stand, which makes getting around convenient even though the main historic sights are a bit far. Breakfast could use more options.

Mr. Orhan at reception was especially helpful, and I appreciated all the other staff as well. They were attentive, efficient, and ready to lend a hand with a smile. Such lovely service and hospitality.
