Cronton Design Hotel

Memduh helped arrange excursions for my partner and me, and when I told him I planned to propose, he made sure everything was set up perfectly. The restaurant and rooftop food was a pleasant surprise, and the ambiance was the best in the city. Ramsey was kind, offered us tea, and had great conversations with us. The bellmen Mahjid (sorry for any misspelling) and Jem were extremely friendly and kind. I chose Cronton Design Hotel for the charm of its historic building and because it stayed true to the culture instead of modernizing the look too much. The beds were comfortable, and the balcony was to die for, with views of both mosques in the old part of the city. Our first room had a shower drain that flooded the bathroom, but the hotel moved us to another room with an even better view. The room had plenty of closet space, a smart TV, and an updated shower head with good pressure. I did miss having an iron or steamer in the room, and there weren’t many hangers. Still, I had an exceptional vacation stay and would definitely recommend the hotel and return to see the amazing staff.

My first visit to Turkey became so special, and I’ll cherish the beautiful memories forever. This iconic, gorgeous hotel and its staff made me feel at home from the moment I walked through the doors. Their customer service was truly above and beyond. When I needed to extend my stay at short notice, the staff accommodated me with smiles. I liked the rooftop view, and the rooms were generally good, though they could have been less dusty. The rooms themselves were good, but the steam room and sauna cost extra, even though we paid over €1400 for four nights. Breakfast was quoted at €100 for two people. Also, the ritual shower gel definitely wasn’t ritual, it was fluorescent blue.

During my five-day stay, the room was cleaned only enough for the bed to be made, and the towels were never changed. The room was quite small, beside an extremely loud ventilation shaft. The noise went on until 9:30 PM, and I had to ask twice for it to be turned off so I could relax. I was disappointed, and the experience was unsatisfactory. I hope they take this feedback and improve their service.
