Karakoy is a lively, lovely area, and staying at Finch Apartments meant I could walk to good restaurants and to work, or get on the metro easily. The place was affordable and flexible, and the location was great. Onder, the owner, is a gem: extremely helpful and made me feel like family. It was an affordable and enjoyable stay. If I come back to Istanbul, I’ll stay there again.

The owner is friendly and easy to talk to, and the price is great. It’s a fantastic base for getting around, with a five-minute walk to either the Tophane or Karaköy tram stop and the Tünel line up to İstiklal Caddesi. I’d recommend it to just about anyone.

The kitchen had plenty of useful things, including a toaster, microwave, dishwasher, oil and tea. The room was really, really clean :D
