Days Inn By Wyndham Istanbul Bomonti

I’ve just spent six days at the Days Inn in Istanbul, looking for a moderately priced place with easy access to the main sights. The reception area is exceptionally friendly. Tamer and Umran were superb, as were manager Ersin and Sam at the bar. The breakfast was tasty, fresh, and nicely presented. The rooms are on the small side, but well appointed and kept clean by efficient housekeeping.

I stayed at Days Inn Bomonti for a long time and felt at home there, with a family atmosphere. The room was nice and clean, and everyone was welcoming and helpful, from Adem Bey and Umran Hanim at reception to the housekeepers and bell boys. Thanks to them all, including Sumerya Taha. The one issue was that reception controlled the central AC. I kept having to ask them to turn it on while other rooms were asking for heat. It would be best if each room could control its own AC or heater.

Bomonti is a handy location, with public transport and nearby restaurants easy to reach, and my clean room made the two-night stay generally pleasant. Still, the room felt smaller than I expected. Breakfast was confusing because there were no labels for the food. Cards showing the dish names would help. It’s a decent choice for a short visit, but could use some improvements.

The staff really made the atmosphere here. They were so pleasant, quickly brought us anything we needed, called for rides, and helped book a boat tour. As English speakers, we found everyone accommodating. Our room was perfect, and the location was close to lots of amenities. My partner and I stayed in June, and this was our home for most of the month. I was in Istanbul for surgery, so it was a great place to recover and relax. I always looked forward to Starbucks downstairs in the cutest lobby, and loved the Irish-style pub. It’s all so gorgeous. Room service and the continental breakfast were other highlights. I’ll absolutely book again if I’m in the area.
