The breakfast was a nice chance to try fresh, homemade dishes, even though it didn’t include the usual continental options like yogurt or pastries. The staff did a lot to make the stay pleasant, and the host even left the sauna on longer so we could enjoy it. The spa was basic but nice, with a sauna and hammam; we didn’t try the massage service. Our room was small but comfortable, cozy, and clean. The hotel was very well kept, with an elegant look from the velvet and gold decor. The host was especially kind and accommodating. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back next time we’re in Istanbul. Thank you!

Ali helped us with everything, especially moving us from an economy room to a standard one, which was much more comfortable. The location was great, breakfast was good, and Turkish bath and sauna access were included. Highly recommend!

The location made it easy to get around Istanbul on foot, with plenty of places to eat nearby. We had a very good experience with the management and staff, who were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel stayed clean and tidy throughout. Our family of five had enough room, and the decor felt very royal. Service was excellent and we got everything we needed. Breakfast had a huge selection and was really good. We also enjoyed the in-hotel Hamam and massage. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

I’m still waiting for a reply to the email I sent management about these problems. If I don’t hear back soon, I plan to take my complaint to the European Consumer Protection Office for Tourism. The conditions and service were far below what I consider acceptable, and I’d advise future guests to reconsider booking unless the issues are fixed. My keycard stopped working on the second day, leaving me unable to get into my room until I went back and forth with staff. The Wi-Fi was down, the refrigerator didn’t work, and the hair dryer was unusable. The bathtub didn’t work either, and there wasn’t enough hot water for a proper shower. The room was filthy when I arrived, with visible dirt and poor cleanliness. There was no soap or shampoo, and I had to ask twice before they brought them. My stay at Diamond Royal Hotel was extremely disappointing.
