This was my second time at the guesthouse, and I expected the same service as before, but it was a huge disappointment. I had to cut my stay short, and Booking.com customer service still hasn't responded to me. The place was dirty, with trash under the bed, filthy blankets, and a shower in terrible condition. I couldn't sleep the first night because the radio at reception played all night. My booking included breakfast, but none was provided on the first morning. When I went to the kitchen, it was chaotic and nobody was at reception. The owner didn't answer when I called, then told me in the evening, when I got back, that there was no breakfast available. Hassan was also very unresponsive this time. It was a horrible experience.

There's a small kitchen where you can make something simple if needed. Breakfast comes on an individual plate for each guest. It's not a huge serving, but enough. For the price, the hotel is very good, and the owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, near Taksim, Tünel, Kabataş ferry station, and the tram. The stairs on both sides of the hotel could be a problem for people with disabilities. The owner helped us with our bags when we left.

Cihangir has a lively, liberal feel, with an artistic and colourful atmosphere. Our room was clean and spacious enough for two people and our bicycle panniers, about ten bags altogether. It had the basics, including a desk, closet, and kettle. The host was genuinely friendly and helpful with our questions and carrying our gear downstairs. This seems like an excellent option on an average budget. Access could be difficult if you're physically disabled, since you have to go up or down about 50m of steps, depending which side you come from.

The street was quiet, so I slept well even though the hotel is centrally located. In the lobby, the cozy atmosphere and smiling staff made it feel like a shared living room. The staff, led by the friendly owner, Veli, were genuinely welcoming and made me feel at home. Dreamers V&V Hotel Cihangir is tucked into the Cihangir neighborhood, close to trendy cafes, art galleries, and local markets, so exploring Istanbul was easy. It also offers great value, with more for the money without sacrificing quality. I highly recommend Dreamers V&V Hotel Cihangir for an Istanbul getaway.

We arrived at 22:00 as a family of five with a 3-month-old baby, expecting the 3-bedroom villa we had booked. Instead, they gave us two small separate rooms with a bathroom on the floor. The whole place was dirty, old, and unpleasant. When we asked for the villa, they said it wasn't available and told us to cancel if we wanted. After an hour on the phone, Booking.com found us a good alternative. This was a scam and not worth the money or the stress. Stay away!
