The soundproofing was the biggest downside. We could hear a lot from neighboring rooms, and the final 3 nights were especially noisy because of other guests. Reception helped when we reported it, and speaking to those guests sorted things out. Housekeeping topped up essentials and changed towels daily, but didn't sweep the room or change the sheets during our stay of over a week. The bathroom was a little small, though it had what we needed. Our deluxe room was roomy, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet at night despite the busy area, with especially comfortable beds and pillows. We stayed at Dugi Hotel for 9 nights, including 2 nights away in Cappadocia, and had a great experience overall. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of ferries, metro, buses, shops, and restaurants. The staff were outstanding and made the stay special. Ali and Mustafa were always friendly, helpful, and happy to chat. They offered a complimentary cappuccino, packed breakfast for my early departure, and shared local tips. I'd happily recommend the hotel and give it a 9/10. The location, comfortable room, and great staff made for a wonderful stay.

We had the King Suite Room and loved it, especially the bed. The staff were great, polite, and happy to help. The location is perfect for spending time on the Asian side, and it's close to ferry stations, so getting to the European side is easy. I'd definitely come back. I really recommend the room, though my husband thinks perhaps we shouldn't, in case we can't book it again.

The rooms have plenty of space, the bathroom is good, and the beds are comfortable. They’ve also started serving food and a few drinks in the last couple of weeks. I’ve stayed here since the hotel first opened, and whenever I come to Turkey it feels like home. The manager, Mustafa at the desk, and Star in the restaurant are all so friendly and nice. In Moda, it’s close to everything but quiet at night. Keep up the great work!

I couldn’t comment on the breakfast or restaurant since I ate at the many places around the neighbourhood, including restaurants, börekçi and midyecesi. My Grand Deluxe Room was spacious and matched the website photos, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The hotel feels modern, new and really nice. Its spot in Kadıköy is central without being too busy. I’ll definitely come back.

The local tips from the staff made our time in Istanbul especially nice. They pointed us toward authentic places rather than mainly suggesting tourist spots or places that benefit the hotel. Everyone was genuinely warm, generous and ready to help, and we felt valued throughout. Dugi Hotel Istanbul was spotless, with comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast. We had a fantastic, relaxing stay in a local, liberal part of the city. Highly recommended for couples or anyone looking for that kind of stay.
