The staff were amazing, and the location makes getting around easy. Balat bus stop or the tram is a brisk five-minute walk away. Elele Boutique Apartments is one of the coolest places I’ve ever rented, and I highly suggest considering a stay here in Istanbul.

Elele Boutique Aparts is the only place I’d stay on another trip to Istanbul. It’s in a fascinating historic area with services nearby and easy access to public transport. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with stylish decor and fast internet throughout. The owner was kind and helpful, and speaks English very well. For the apartment and its services, the price feels like a deal.

Easy access to public transport, local markets, a supermarket, the ferry station, and the historic neighborhood. The host was really nice and quick to respond. Gladly book it again on my next visit.

Balat’s sights are only about five minutes from Elele, and the Blue Mosque is roughly 15-20 minutes away by bus. There are plenty of cafés close by too. The flat has a washing machine, stove, fridge, and a handy table for working. The rooms are a bit small but fine. One thing to know: the bedroom has no outside window, just an opening onto the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay.

Balat was such a nice place to come back to after a day out, quiet and peaceful, with cafés, coffee shops, and everyday essentials right nearby. The main sights are still easy to reach on foot or with a short bus ride. Our apartment had everything we needed for a short or longer stay and was beautifully put together. Tugba and Aytec were lovely hosts, always helpful. I’d definitely recommend Elele apartments.
