Emilion Hotel

Aslan deserves a special thank you for being so helpful and kind, always ready to assist with a smile. He made the stay much smoother and more enjoyable. Mahmot and the rest of the team were professional and kind as well. The hotel was clean and well organized, with a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere, and everything was handled professionally. I had a wonderful stay that exceeded my expectations, and I’d gladly return and recommend it to visitors.

The hotel sits on a little street, so it was quiet, even though the surrounding area was lively with lots of restaurants and shops. It’s very central for sightseeing. We felt at home from the moment we arrived, and our room was comfortable and clean. We had a wonderful stay at Emilion Hotel and will definitely come back.

The rooms are on the small side, but the quality is top notch and everything looks polished. There’s free coffee at reception all day and night, and fast WiFi is included. It’s right in the heart of Istanbul, surrounded by street food restaurants in a market area, and only a five- or six-minute walk to Hagia Sofia or the tram. I haven’t stayed in a friendlier, more welcoming hotel in a long time.

The hotel’s location worked really well for us, with food, a supermarket, metro, tram, and ferry nearby. Breakfast came from the cafe beside the lobby. It was a simple, traditional Turkish breakfast, just what we needed before heading out. Azlan met us by the roadside when we arrived late because of regional airspace restrictions, helped with our bags, and even broke a large Euro note so we could pay our driver. Our room had been set up with twin beds instead of a double due to system issues. We said joining the beds would be fine for the first night, and while we were out the next morning, he arranged for housekeeping to change them to a double. He also lent us his Istanbulkart for a small deposit, so we didn’t need to buy one. We topped it up and used it a lot on trams, buses, and ferries. When we left, another staff member, whose name I’m sorry I didn’t get, coordinated with our driver and brought our luggage out. The whole stay felt warm and welcoming. We’d gladly stay at Emilion Hotel on another visit.
