Empire hotel was amazing, 100%. The people were fab, and the hotel was very clean. The restaurant is full of lovely food, with cold drinks available and service open all hours. Love, love, love my stay. Thanks for looking after me 🥰

We had a great time at Empire Hotel in Istanbul. Arif was amazing and helped us so much during the stay. He’s genuinely kind and helpful and really cares about guests. Nora was always welcoming and smiling, which made us feel at home. We really appreciate their friendly hospitality. The location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable, and the service made a real difference. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The jacuzzi was the main reason I paid an extra $120 in cash for the king suite, along with a decorative surprise for my wife. We got a few rose petals, a rotten fruit platter, and a cheap bouquet. The room was a disaster: no windows, just hole-ridden plastic tarps where the glass should have been, so cold air kept coming in. The heat also failed on our first night. There were no napkins or TV remote, the coffee and glass cups were dirty, the fridge smelled awful, one bathroom had a clogged, leaking shower and toilet, the other smelled rancid, and the jacuzzi was filthy. The front desk did nothing about any of it. I called three times for napkins and eventually got them myself from the hotel restaurant. I’d stayed here before and found the basic room decent, with an amazing breakfast, so this stay was especially disappointing for what I paid for their supposed “best” room. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone traveling to Istanbul. In response to the business: saying my review is untruthful despite the photos I posted is inaccurate. I also have video of the room, but this platform won’t let me upload it. I raised my concerns respectfully and stayed professional, but I did not “thank the staff for everything,” as the response claimed. I paid more than four times the hotel’s average nightly rate and had multiple problems, so asking for compensation was reasonable. The hotel hasn’t offered a resolution or reimbursement. I’m pursuing any travel credit recovery through other means, independently of this property. Instead of dealing with the concerns or contacting me directly, the hotel dismissed them and questioned my credibility publicly. I’m sharing this response to point out the lack of professionalism and accountability, so future travelers can make an informed choice about staying in Istanbul.
