The staff were friendly and helpful, but we didn’t enjoy our stay at all. We couldn’t get a good night’s sleep: the walls were so thin we heard people talking in nearby rooms every night, even rooms that weren’t next to ours. Other guests smoked in their rooms, and the cigarette smell reached ours too. It was freezing in room 206 at night at the end of December, since the AC wasn’t working properly. The room was old and dirty from top to bottom. The floor felt sticky and had long hairs on it. The bed sheets were very old and covered in fuzz balls, which we found disgusting, and the blanket stank of sweat. The walls were dirty too, as shown in the photos, and the old main door had gaps at the sides and bottom. The bathroom was especially awful, extremely dirty and smelling of mould. Please look at the photos, it’s hard to describe. Breakfast wasn’t good either, and some products were expired.

The location is ideal, and the rooms are roomy with a useful, functional kitchen. The staff were great and accommodated every request, including helping us book airport transfers and get around the city. Breakfast was so yummy. We also made use of the microwave in the common area to heat our food. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and stay again!

Good for the price, with a great, accessible location and friendly staff. The rooms are a good size and nice enough, though they feel a bit old. Some renovation could make them much better.

The staff were nice, but that wasn’t enough. Dust everywhere, mould in the bathroom, dirty bed linen, a grimy sink and toilets, and broken things around the room. Disgusting, with health and safety issues. One word for the place: NIGHTMARE. Staff get 5 stars, the hotel minus 1 million.

The staff were great, very responsive and quick to help, and the price was good. The location is perfect, about a 5-minute walk to Taksim. But the air conditioning didn’t work, there was no heater, and the sound insulation was so poor we could literally hear everything from the next room. There was no light in the shower area, and water spilled outside the shower. It’s a good option if you want somewhere near taksim at a great price, as long as you keep those issues in mind. The hotel needs improvement.
