Etiz Hotels & Residences

We were left without a proper solution when a bathroom ceiling started leaking after our first night. We had booked three nights, but instead of being offered another room, we were asked to let workers demolish the ceiling and repair the plumbing while we were still staying there. When we asked for a refund for the remaining nights so we could move hotels, they said no, claiming we were leaving just because we “didn’t like the hotel.” The service was unprofessional and the response to a serious problem was unacceptable. The location also made things difficult: taxis often wouldn’t enter the narrow streets, and there was nowhere to park. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooms are clean, spacious and nice, and the hotel itself is good. It’s near Taksim square, though getting there from the main road means going down a very steep slope.

That sea escape view from our two bedroom apartment was incredible. I can still picture it, and the hospitality made the stay just as memorable. The location was perfect, and I’d come back to Istanbul just to stay at the Etiz and see that view again. I can’t say enough about it.

Getting around the city was easy from Etiz Residences, thanks to its perfect location. The rooms were more like stylish apartments, with lots of space, lovely decor and real comfort. We had an amazing stay in Istanbul and highly recommend it.
